Breakfast Smoothie Recipe

                                                        1 cup  apple juice, rice milk, nut milk, or soy milk
                                                        ½ cup  purified water
                                                        1  banana
                                                        ½  apple or pear, cut (with skin)
                                                        ½ inch ginger root
                                                        1/3 cup frozen berries (cherries, blueberries,
                                                                    strawberries, blackberries, mixed berries, etc.)

                                                        1-2 tbsp. pumpkin seeds (put whole into the blender)
                                                        to taste stevia or other sweetener (maple syrup, raw honey, etc.)
                                                        3-4 tbsp. Ground flax seeds (use an electric coffee grinder)
                                                       
1 serving smoothie mix (optional)
                                                        whole food supplements (optional for added nutrition)
                                                        ¼ tsp. Acidophilus (probiotic powder)

                                                         You may need to add more liquid as the flax seeds will thicken the smoothie.

                                                        Mix all ingredients together in a blender and serve.
